Some Advice on muscle building and buring this fat?

hi, happy new year to all

Right i currently weighing in at 180LBS (13 Stone) I鈥檝e been loosing weight all the through 2007 so i no all about dieting and what to do to loose weight, but im struggling now.

I want to slim down like a nice slim body. lots of people have been telling me that if i do cardio and then weights the fat will drop off me because muscle burns the fat quicker. I just want to loose this Fat and get a nice toned body .

So i have decided to go on a low calorie diet, and take some protein shakes, because they apparently boost your metabolism. At 4pm after college i will be going to the gym for 45 minutes doing cardio work, then at 7pm i will be going to the gym again and doing the weight machines for about 2 hours.

i think this will work in my opinion, can someone just tell me if this will work and if they have any extra ideas i can stick into my plan.

Age: 17

Height: 5ft 10

Weight: 180LBS (13 Stone) Lost so far 60LBS

It looks like the perfect routine.

Nothing beats healthy eating.

Concentrate on overall fitness and maintaining a healthy heart.

For best results, eat six times a day. Try balancing your meals 70% protein 30% carbs.

Eat a combination of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates every few hours throughout the day to speed up fat loss and maintain stable energy levels.

Eat your proteins from lean sources (Chicken, fish, boiled eggs, lean beef with all the fat drained off) and beans (lentil, lima, chile or any type of bean)

For your carbs stay away from breads and rice. They do provide energy but they are high in calories. Choose leafy vegetables, carrots, raisins, broccoli and fresh fruits. Weight train intensely, three times per week on alternating days with aerobic exercise three times per week.

Drink 10 to 20 glasses water per day NO SODA

Good Luck !!!Some Advice on muscle building and buring this fat?
doing sit ups and pushups helps u alot

also consider taking swimming which helps all the muscles in the body do some squats with some weights and yes working out is good but try not to do it too much because i got stretch marks by doing this also eat some meat which helps gain muscle but not too much to the point that ur full.
Working cardio for 45 min and the doing two hours of weight lifting is just stupid and you will burn out within a week of doing that. Just burn more calories than you take in and do a little weight training on the side and it would be great for you.
cardio cardio cardio. The more sweat you release the more pounds you drop. Id personaly recommend a big upbeat fun cardio at home dvd like hip hop abs .....believe me you dont even feel like you working out ...or take a spansh dance class like the mamnbo or something thats fast and moves your hips..... it worked wondors for me

i was 175 and got down to 130

**in 2 months!!!!!!

with of course eating healthy and only 1500 claories a day

best wishes, and good luck!!

  • Building a bike, need advice?

    hi

im buidling a bike (bicycle) and i have a budget of 拢500

i was thinking og using fox forks anf a giant xtc frame, mabe shimino deore gear system

    any thoughts

    txBuilding a bike, need advice?
I'm sorry to say you won't go far with 拢500. I just bought a complete Giant XTC for 拢350 - the XTC 4.5, It was originally on for 拢500, and even that is cheap compared to what it would cost to build it yourself.

I did build a bike from scratch back in the 80's, but that was using a second hand racing frame, second hand wheels and the other parts I saved up for out of my college grant. It still cost a lot of money though.Building a bike, need advice?
As the 拢 improves bike components are becoming cheaper. However, 拢500 is not a great budget for hand building. The XTC is a nice frame, although the oversized seat post transferes a lot of vibration to the but.

However, regardless of which frame you are after, you are looking at about 拢200 for the frame. 拢200 for gears. 拢100 for chainset. 拢50 for casset. 拢50 for bar and stem. 拢300 for fox forks. 拢150 for wheels + 拢50 for tyres, 拢20 chain. 拢20 for various cables. 拢150 for disc brakes.

拢20 saddle, 拢30 for seat post.

    You get the idea.

I would buy an older model XTC and upgrade that. Pay about 拢400 for an 08 model and then upgrade key components. Primarily I would shorten the stem and put an XT casset on the back. I would also dump the Kenda tyres for something faster.

    Try this site:

    www.paulscycles.co.uk

    Luck
you've no chance with the budget you have, you won't get a fox shock for less than 300,your deore group-set will set you back another 200 at least, you've still got to get wheels, tyres bars, stem and seat-pin,you'll need a budget of at least 1000,but good-luck trying.
Ready built will always be cheaper. But have fun anyway.
Giant XTC frame is fabulous. To stay in your budget don't buy really expensive ';less important'; parts. You can always upgrade these later. Like stem, seatpost, pedals or chain or even brakes (unless you're going disc which is worth it if you're buying a higher end disc set). Put your money into the drive train first - cassette and crank, then into shifters and brakes. What wheels are you getting? Nice wheels are a small fortune.

Are you buying used parts? Or salvaging parts from another bike? It may be difficult staying in your budget if you're intending to buy full deore with an XTC frame and good wheels.

You'd probably be better off buying an XTC bike with manufacturer components and swapping them out as you want to upgrade.
You will end up spending twice the amount that a new bike will cost. Manufactures buy parts by the truckload and for a fraction of the price it takes to buy one piece. They assemble the bike and pass the savings on to you. Get a bike that has most of the components you like and change the ones you don't like.

    Building web pages, need advice?

I use to be pretty good at building web pages about 7 years ago, but never kept up with the lastest technology. I would like to get back into doing them again and doing graphic designs too. I would like to know what software, books, maybe online schools, that can help me get back into building web pages again?Building web pages, need advice?
Being out of it as long as you have, you should really brush up on XHTML and CSS. Some might suggest ASP .NET or PHP for this question but so much has changed in 7 years it's imperative you get down with XHTML and CSS first. A good book on CSS is 'Eric Meyer on CSS' and there are so much resources on the Internet about XHTML already a book really isn't required.

To find out why XHTML exists, visit W3's site: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/

As soon as you are ready, you have the major choices I mentioned above for serving side scripting: ASP .NET (with the actual scripting being done in C# or VB7) or PHP.Building web pages, need advice?
It depends. If you want to build static web pages you should learn XHTML and CSS.

Building dynamic web pages, i.e pages which load their contents from Databases, you'll need to learn a server side scripting language like PHP, or some other similar technology like ASP.NET

you can find lots of resources here

    http://www.w3schools.com/
Well, you got alot of books with this thematic (for example ';Creating Web Pages For Dummies'; by the Bud Smith and Arthur Bebak) but the best solution is to buy firstly some program support (as Dreamweaver od Front Page Express) and read their tutorials. There you'll find basics and after you'll beginn with work, day by day you'll make it better. Veradisca %26amp; Best Regards, Neven.
Right now, semantic coding is what's most important as opposed to pretty design. By that I mean using each tag in accordance to its role (ie h1 for heading as opposed to a table cell; p for paragraphs not divs; tables only for tabular data).

Another thing that everyone is aiming for, is separating style from content. Put all the styling inside an external stylesheet and use classes and ids (where needed) to apply them to the html tags.

Also, you need to keep in mind that disabled people will need to be able to read your site: color contrast, order coding, links(anchors) to navigation/content...

As for the server side scripting: ASP.NET seems to be the latest trend, however PHP is also pretty popular. You can do more with ASP.NET though.

    Building first computer. need advice?

ok this is the first computer im gunna build and i want it to be a gaming computer for World of Warcraft and multitasking. Are all of these parts compatible with each other? do you think that there are better parts i should use? if so plz link them. Thanks for the help

    There shouldn't be any problem.

Any advice on design/building a drywell to spare my septic from water softener + filter cleaning discharge?

My water softener and filter currently discharge (about 97 gallons each week) into my septic system. I heard this was bad for the septic. My septic service co. agreed. The water filter service said this was perfectly safe.

Septics are too expensive to risk a failure. I would like to reroute the discharge to avoid any problems. Any suggestions for a drywell design would be very helpful.

Does the drywell require a vent stack?

How far away from the house do I need to place the drywell?

I live in NH so I need to consider freezing.Any advice on design/building a drywell to spare my septic from water softener + filter cleaning discharge?
It is only water with very minute amount of solids. If you have an acquit leak field the softener flush should not have any effect. You should listen to the water filter people. You are spinning your wheels and are looking to spend money that don't need to be spent.Any advice on design/building a drywell to spare my septic from water softener + filter cleaning discharge?
    97 gals. is such a small amount of water that I would not worry about. Is your septic service NUTS!!!!!I never met a septic person that was honorable, so take their word as a grain of salt.Heck, I pee almost that much a week%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

Advice needed for building a computer?

Okay so I have just decided to make a computer for gaming (sort of a split-second decision), I don't want anything high end, but enough to satisfy but recreational gaming needs (if that makes sense O.o) anyway it has been a long time since i actually built one and I am really outdated with everything lol.

I did go shopping online at shopping square where they seem to have really good deals and a awesome postage discount, but I'm not sure if this shop is to be trusted...

Anyway I chose what i wanted and I like the price, but I think it is a little low?

Here is a list of what i have chosen:

    Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P AM3 Motherboard

    KINGSTON KVR800D2N5K2/4G 4GB KIT 800MHz(PC2-6400) DDR2

    AMD 9950 PHENOM x4 AM2+ 2.66GHZ QUAD CORE CPU

I'm not so sure about this processor, I read somewhere that anything below 3.1GHZ bottlenecks the HD4850 graphics card.

Samsung 500GB SATA II 16mb Cache HDD

SONY AD7200SGB INTERNAL 20X DVD BURNER SATA BLACK OEM

    Hightech ATI HD4850 IceQ4 1GB 256-bit GDDR3

ASUS VW198T 19 inch HD 1050 LCD Monitor High Definition

XION ONYX 301 GAMING MEDI TOWER CASE NO PSU (I chose this one because it looks awesome =D)

That will cost me $1,252.55. Which I think is great.

    Okay now or questions.

    1)Is this site trustworthy?

    2)Is everything compatible?

3)Is anything going to be Bottlenecked?

4)What power supply do I need?

I really have no clue about what power supply i need.

5)Is this a good computer or am I just going to spend money on junk?

Okay I think that is about it, any advice/comments and answers before I make a decision would be much appreciated

(I posted this in the wrong section before.)Advice needed for building a computer?
As far as power supply, I would say 600-650 watts should get you by just fine. I would also second Newegg.com, as of right now they also have deals on graphics cards. Second I would recommend going with a 32mb cache HD, a lil more CASH never hurt anyone (sorry for the play on words hehehe) Also look into the 4830 graphics card for casual gaming, if you dont want bragging rights (you know the ones...I got 400FPS on the new crysis game) a 4830 should suffice and save you more cash. Also check out the new AM3 boards, which support DDR3. and the new tripple core processors pack quite a punch and will also save you a bit of cash. Just built my new computer for $520 (minus case, and monitor) cuz I reused old ones

Dont build ur own, it sucks cuz youre basically building a pc. all pcs are known to be low quality even if u build it. Who the hell builds there own computer? No don't do that. That would take too long, you'd have to be einstien to put it together and it'll break when you finally finish. Buying a new mac will giv u the best and top-of-the-notch stuff and you also get osx, which is the greatist hing in the world!

leave building PCs and PC users to the dumb geeks, and be a smart person- buy a mac.

PC sucks!!! Apple innovates, microsoft imitates.
I'd recommend you buy your things off Newegg, where prices are cheap, and it has an awesome reputation.

    http://www.newegg.com

    1. What's the site.

    2. The processor is incompatible with the motherboard. The motherboard is AM3, but your processor is AM2+. AM2/AM2+ processors will not fit in an AM3 socket, though an AM3 processor will work in an AM2 board.

    Change your motherboard for this:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>

    3. So far no, though it depends on the game you're playing.

    4. A good 650W will do. I would recommend this one, which is from a reputable manufacturer.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>

    5. It's overpriced. The computer should cost $900 at the most.

My advice would be to get a better processor. A Phenom 920 is significantly faster than a 9950 and uses less power.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
go with newegg.com there prices are better and they have the best customer service they might even be cheaper they give discounts I built a whole pc for $800 so you could probably build your quad for a $1000.00
hes right get a mac. dont build ur own, its too confusing and most people screw up! leave this job to the geeks and buy yourself a nice mac. vista sucks anyways its full of viruses and BUGS

You need a real computer like an mac mini (if your poor), iMac, and the top of the line Mac Pro that owns all PCs with its mighty 32GB RAM and native 8 core processors. Theres no other PC can beat a mac pro in gaming, rendering, or demanding stuff. im not a gamer, even i know tis. all the new macs have nvidia 9000 series whcih are supposed to be 5x faster than the old ones

Deck Building Experts,,, Need Your Advice!!?

I'm building a small deck around my above ground pool. Question is this,,, when securing the beams to the posts, what is best, should I be making an ';L'; notch on either side of the post so the 2x10 beams fit on the post and level with the top of the post or should I just be bolting them to the sides of the posts so they are level with the top. Does that make sense the way I'm wording it? Please help me with this question. I'm sure if you are an experienced deck builder this question will make sense. Thanks for your helpDeck Building Experts,,, Need Your Advice!!?
    Christopher,

I'd notch them for at least two reasons...when working by myself, notching the posts will enable me to do it by myself, secondly, it adds additional strength to the overall integrity of the structure. I would only make the notch about 1/2 inch deep, and then use bolts.

Everything on there looks good except your motherboard, case and HDD.

Your motherboard is pretty weak when compared to other offerings, consider an Asus board.

That case while both functional (cooling wise) and visually cool is a complete **** to build into (like parking a van in a shed)

And your HDD is overpriced, right jnow consider a traditional mechanical drive like a Samsung Spinpoint F1 or WD Caviar. Price to performance they cant be beaten. Then when SSD become more affordable get one then.I'm building computer. Give me advice on parts.?
Regarding Asus motherboards. I have had two. The first one had to be sent back for warranty twice. On the second trip, they sent back a rebuild board which contained written test results that it was working properly. Each time, weeks passed before response even with numerous phone calls. In the meantime, I had installed a second Asus board. That board in a little over 18 months had failure in the PCI slot for the video card. Okay, reinstall the first board. USB controller not functioning correctly and would not boot if anything connected to a USB port. Computer now operating with an EVGA motherboard.

Take it for what's it worth.
WAIT to buy your motherboard, CPU an RAM as intel will be releasing a new processor architecture called i5.

All core2 duo's an core2 quads will drop in price an be rebranded i3

i5 be worth taking a look at. Socket types r unknown at this point but rumored that i5 is LGA1156

    i7 an i9 LGA1366

i9 having 6 cores running hyperthreading

Holy smokes! That almost looks like my list!!!

You can get the mobo a bit cheaper. I posted the link below.

You can probably get cheaper memory than OCZ, they tend to be more expensive and fancy. Unless you are into weird overclocking stuff, just get cheaper ram sticks.

Same with the Hard drive. 150GB is nothing. You can get a nice huge hard drive with 7200 rpm.

One thing. I like to separate my windows system stuff from my gaming. So you may want to use your old hard drive to put windows and such files and use the second hard drive to install the games. It helps to keep things separate.

Good Luck!Help building a gaming computer? Advice on an idea?
looks ok, i would go w/a better psu though.....something name brand like corsair or antec......if your gonna sli that 530w what no-namer probably wont cut it.......also the q9300, i would look into the q9450, double the cache size, 12mb.......and easier to oc w/a multiplier of 8x vs 7.5 on the 9300......i just ordered that cpu, and a corsair tx650 psu,the 109.00 right now on newegg......good luck.......scott.
I would not go with the power supply that comes with the case!! Its not strong enough to carry the watts you are going to use. Grab a 800 watt or 850 watt supply and sell the one in your case to a friend or someone or just put it a side. I would reccomend amd to start with. the new phenom quad core is alot better with 4 rails for information to travel.

and its cheaper and very powerful used with this:

It does use the ddr 2 ram but at 1066 speed and is a bit cheaper so the money you save on the AMD system you can put towards the power supply and another video card.

more room at about half the cost!!!!

Why do all that cutting when you can take 2x4s or larger 45 one end for cosmetics slap it under the 2x10 and lag screw it and you have the same support. Take the W out of work.Deck Building Experts,,, Need Your Advice!!?
Why go to all that trouble just go and get some joist hangers they are cheap and hold really well, or you can do the sill method by running a 2x4 support board around the inside of the deck frame, just adjust it so that the top of the deck floor is at the level that you want Just don't forget to run your floor joists before the deck floor, both of these ways are very strong and will last a long time. I did the sill method on mine and it has lasted 30 years.
Make an L notch it provides much more support
You use two bolts with a beam on each side of the past with a long bolt through it all. Use 2 bolts so it holds it square and won't move. If you notch, it weakens the beam.

Bolts are lag bolts and you have a washer on each side and a nut to fasten. You get them in appropriate lengths. Check with Lowes or Home Depot to get the bolts. If you attach to the house you use brackets to attach your beam. Be sure to stagger the boards when you do the deck floor as the ends of boards are at different places. Deck screws are better than nails and you sink them just a little bit. In putting on sealer or protection it should be UV protective. It comes in 1 or 5 gallon and you roll it on. Do 2 coats. I once tried ';waterseal'; but that was not satisfactory to me. The coating I used was not clear when put on but a bit yellowed- only slightly but it dried clear. Wish I could remember the name but it was 3 initials. Need to recoat every few years after power washing. With a pool you may want to do more often.

    Good luck.
Although I have never been a 'professional' [got paid for my work] deck builder, I have built, or helped build, a couple of dozen decks over the last 40 years.

We have always used the match up / drill a hole / bolt together method, and have never had any negative incidents [sag or collapse] occur.

A couple of the 'decks' were actually multi-shelf shelving units in one car space in two car garages. These were for the very high density, thus heavy, storage all the furnature from a full two-bedroom apartment.

We used 1/4x20 carriage bolts with washhers [for spreading stress], 4x4 [nominal, actually 3 1/2 x 3 1/3] posts, 2x6 perimeter beams and mid-point beams, and 1/2 inch plywood [for interior 'decks'] for the decking.

For exterior decks we used treated timber and lumber for the posts, beams and deck surface. The carriage bolts and washers were galvanized, and for the exterior decks we used 'deck screws' with protective coating for treated lumber. To tie down the plywood for interior decking we just used ordinary 'drywall' screws.

The very heavy items, like refrigerators, range/ovens. dishwashers and such were set on pallets on the concrete garage floor, but the next two deck layers up were crammed solid with ALL other furniture, lamps, etc., etc.

Of all the ';decks'; in which I've participated in the construction, there has never been any kind of failure using the bolting method.

The only reason I can think of for using the notching technique would be for esthetic [appearance] where the joints would be exposed to view.

I suggest using the bolt method as it will save an enourmous amount of time and effort, and unless you are well experienced in the notching method, you will have a lot of loosely fitting, sloppy looking, and WEAK joints.

Building 60 gal tank advice needed?

I am converting my parents old 1985 Mitsubishi 36'; oak TV into a fish tank. I am trying to figure out what thickness glass I will need, the front and back will be 33';W x 26';H and it will be 16'; deep. Since it will be so tall, will I need to go up to 1/2'; glass or should 3/8'; do the trick?

I was also considering getting one sheet of 1/2'; for the front only, and finishing the rest in fiberglass for strength with a top layer of carbon fiber (since you can't really see the sides or back of the tank). I'm just not sure how this would effect the water in the tank. Would the epoxy resin be ok if I make sure it is fully cured before adding the water, or would a clear gel coat be better?Building 60 gal tank advice needed?
You really should go 1/2'; just because of the height (as soon as you went over 24'; you increased the need from 3/8';).

Fiberglass/carbon fiber sounds nice (but expensive and time consuming) and still needs to be sealed with an epoxy paint safe for potable water anyway... why not simply build it from marine grade plywood? Simpler to work with and can ';slide'; into the housing once the TV is gutted.

Building a PC. Need advice and help!! Thank you?

Before i start id like to say thank you for your time and effort.

Im planning on building a good gaming pc.

My budget is around 550. i want to find out as much information as i can before i start buying parts.

I need to know how to go about building the best and cheapest gaming rig based on my budget.

What im really stuck on is the motherboard. What type? Asus maybe and i cant buy any old motherboard it has to coincide with my other parts.

im planning on getting an 8800 graphics card, n-vida or g-force?.

    4gb of ram

    1 terabite samsung F1

    I-cute case

    Dl-dvd burner.

    intel quad core or duo

    vista-32bit??

What power supply unit shall i get. 1000w?

Any suggestions on where to get cheap parts would be nice.

Any precautions i should take when installing parts..Building a PC. Need advice and help!! Thank you?
wait a sec, you top of the line parts from quality vendors and only think you are going to spend $550???

is that in pounds or USD???

if its pounds then you have a chance, if its USD keep saving...

    EDIT

are you using a monitor from a different system? if not then there is at least 100 to 150 pounds right there.

save your money and put in a good dual core CPU. spend the extra on a better GPU like a GTX 260 or a 4850 or better.

g-force is an nVidia brand and the 8800 is still a decent card but there are better out there.

if you use the 32bit Vista it will only see 3.25gig of the RAM, put in 3gig or get the 64bit OS.

'cute'??? how about an all steel case that has at least two 120mm fans and good air flow??

DVD burner good, get a lite-on brand. even at $25 USD they are cheap enough to replace if they ever die.

1000W is over kill unless you plan on using GTX 290's in SLI with a quad core CPU and a half dozen hard drives. get a QUALITY PSU at around 750W.

    tigerdirect.com

make sure that if you use an aftermarket CPU or GPU cooler that you get a tube of thermal paste, a HSF that comes with the CPU will have it already applied.

DONT FORCE ANYTHING. if it does not fit then you are doing something wrong.Building a PC. Need advice and help!! Thank you?
Even if its 600 pounds, you aren't going to get anything what you expect.

    Anyway, check out this place,

It tells you how to setup a good gaming pc, which parts to buy, they compare the parts, and even tell you best place to buy them. Basically they do all the work for you
For the money I'd go with nvidia's 780i SLI motherboard. I'd stick with an SLI certified 700w power supply. It will work with Dual 8800 GTX cards.

Building a computer, need advice. (I'm a Novice.)?

    Dear, Answer Community.

I've spent the past few years of my gaming life on a Dell-Inspiron 1501, as you can imagine, this is not exactly an ideal machine. In fact, it's downright horrifying. Now, I am on the hunt for advice on just exactly what I should put into my new machine, my price range is 1200$-1500$, and I would like to build this custom style. I would ideally be buying my parts from the following site, Newegg.com

Is there any chance that you all could reccomend a system for me, link me one of your builds, or just refer me to parts you've had wonderful experience with. That's not all that I need, however.

I also need information on what all I do need to build a complete and running machine, could you give me a comprehensive list of components? Thank you very much - Zach.Building a computer, need advice. (I'm a Novice.)?
    You could try looking at

for some ideas. Study the components they use and pick the ones that meet your spec and price point.

Good luck. I'm green with envy.

I can save you a bunch of time, and money, go to http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

Find one you like, configure it, as you select or change things the price changes too. You can't beat most of this stuff on price, and it has a 3 yr warranty.

You should be looking at a i7 with 6gb of triple channel memory and an Asus motherboard.

It comes assembled, ready to play for less than you can buy the parts most the time.

Make sure you go with Vista Home Premium 64 bit operating system so that it will recognize all that memory.

For 1200 to 1300 you can put together a top pf the line i7 computer with a Radeon 4870 or 4890 video card or Nvidia if you wish. You will be ';THE MAN'; !

If you still want to build after checking this out, I will give you a list.

Have fun! Below is what I am getting, not sure if I should go with 4870 card or 4890 for 45 to 50 bucks more. I made a mistake below ....I have down 2 Hard drives, and I only wanted 1 (500gb) Hard drive (more reliable), so you can deduct about another 50 or more bucks off the price at the bottom, or it will pretty much pay for shipping.

    Hi there,

I have to agree with you on the Dells - I can't stand them anymore. Don't even get me started on the poor technical support line.

Anyways, for 1200 to 1500 dollars you can make a very powerful computer. Any computer over 1300 dollars, I would easily recommend an i7 based system - it's quite affordable these days at only 270 dollars and gives quite a bit of bang for the buck.

There's quite a bit you need to learn (don't worry, it's a lot of information, but it's not complicated at all).

I actually have a pretty comprehensive guide to picking every computer part on my website - it's for people just like you!
some much to recommend, a case with adequate cooling, a descent PSU, a motherboard with more than one PCI-E slot in case you want to run multiple screens, and you can max out with the fastest ram that has heatsinks, a CPU that you can overclock ,not that i approve of overclocking, unless you know what your doing.Cooling can be chassis fans, water or mineral oil cooled, depends on you budget, if it is all to much suggest you buy or get someone to build it for you, software is another issue, games like directx 10 which is in alpha for XP so if you get directx 10 games you have to run Vista

    Hi

    Everything is great.

But I sugeest you to get an ATI HD4850.this card is better than 8800GT but 4850 is hot. Here are some benchmarks :

    http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/gamin鈥?/a>
Your motherboard can't run SLI. If you want to SLI you need an Nvidia-based nForce motherboard in order to run.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>

    Other than that looks good.
This is a very good budget build I must say. Just a few things that I recommend, based on the price range

    - go back to newegg and try to get a DVD burner that is SATA. Im not saying that IDE is bad, just that SATA is newer technology and operates faster for like an extra 10 bucks AT MOST. You can even get lightscribe in there if you are lucky

    - Instead of getting 8GB of RAM I would settle for 4 GB and use that money for a better graphics card. I know this because I have ran crysis with an identical system except one had 8GB and the other had 4GB. I couldnt tell the difference.

    - as for the mobo, it is good to get a P45 mobo IF AND ONLY IF you going to run on a single graphics card. IF YOU PLAN ON USING MORE THAN ONE (crossfire or SLI) go for the x38/x48/x58 mobos. they offer full x16 lanes to both PCI slots whereas the P45 only offers x16 to one slot.

This may be something you overlooked but DO NOT FORGET TO BUY AN OPERATING SYSTEM!!! (Win XP, Vista or any of the others) BECAUSE THE HARD DRIVES DO NOT COME WITH THEM INSTALLED!!!!!!

and if you still decide to get the 8 GB of RAM you MUST get a 64-bit OS because a 32-bit OS will recognize only 4GB MAX!!!

    hope this info helped

    hi

few things i can recommend , for gaming it is recommend to get motherboard in SLI mode, so you can have SLI graphics to handle big graphics easier and RAM IN SLI MODE AS WELL,

pc2-6400 is not good for faming machines , get pc2-1200,

    OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 Flex II 4GB Series, 4096MB, PC2-1200, CL5-5-5-18

this is cl5 edition so it is low CAS SO it is much better , to run this ram you need to change your motherboard , 512mb graphic card is not good, i tried to play UNREAL TOURNEMANT 3 WITH 512MB DDR2 GRAPHIC CARD WHICH WAS FREEzes

other than that prices are expensive on that

    try

looks good but i would advice you to upgrade your processor to a Q6600 processor
Get an AMD processor, they're cheaper and arguably better.

    Building a garage need advice?

Thinking of building attached garage - what about basement windows?

I am thinking of building an attached garage. Our house is small and we do not have any windows in the basement to the front part of the house. If we build on the side we will be covering up two fairly large windows (which was some of the appeal to this house).

What are my options? I thought maybe we could have a skylight type area.. but not sure if this would work or if it is possible. Is it hard to put a window in the foundation towards the front of the house instead? We will be contacting a contractor in about 6 months to a year - but I just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts?!Building a garage need advice?
To put a basement window in you would need to cut out the appropriate sized hole in the block or poured wall. It's a dusty job if poured concrete, don't feel guilty about paying a company to do it.

If you are doing this, consider installing a larger window. As long as you are making a mess, go big. Make the rough opening about 4 inches wider and longer than the window, then frame that hole with treated lumber cut to fit, like a 2x10. Attach the lumber to the concrete, then you can install and trim a normal window in a conventional manner. Of course, you need to dig out on the outside and install a larger window well from metal or plastic corrugated material or even landscaping blocks. Dig deeper than you need to dig and try to connect a drain to your home's existing perimeter drains; either way, provide a rocky volume bottom for water to keep away from the bottom of the window.

If you don't have a code-approved egress window, this will fit the bill if appropriately sized and located - check with your building department for their requirements.Building a garage need advice?
Other than adding a couple egress windows elsewhere in the foundation one may wish to simply have a detached perhaps with a breezeway. These can be semi closed in.

    Good Luck
In my state (NY), it is a code requirement to put fireproof drywall on the house side of the garage and ceiling, on attached garages. This is for your protection; your life depends on it!

You would need to check with your building code enforcement officer in your city/town/ village to get proper info.

When you hire a contractor, make sure you ask for their insurance card, and check with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to make sure they are an upstanding company. My friend just hired someone (bogus company) he found in the local paper. Needless to say he got ripped off. The state attorney general鈥檚 office is now very interested in the bogus company. Also, get a minimum of three estimates. If two are in line and one is out of line.... ask why. Sometimes the cheaper estimate doesn鈥檛 do the same work or use the proper materials. COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES not to Oranges.

As an added note, make sure they get building permits to do the work, and see the permit yourself, just don鈥檛 take their word for it. I鈥檝e seen Code Enforcement Officers make people open every wall to inspect the various stages. This is where you need to contact the building dept., and ask what they require and what stages of construction they need to inspect, DO NOT rely the builders word.

As for putting a window in the foundation, it鈥檚 not hard if you know what you鈥檙e doing. Again, get estimates and check with the building dept., for the rules and regs. Just like above!

Good luck with your new project!

Which one builds more character, taking advice or learning from mistakes?

i strongly believe it's more important to make mistakes than to take advice. i dont think anyone should give advice if they havent experienced the situation themselves. do you agree?Which one builds more character, taking advice or learning from mistakes?
While advice is great and can really help you succeed in life, learning from mistakes are the best lessons as they often are not forgotten. They both tend to go hand in hand and are both extremely valuable. I myself prefer learning from mistakes as I feel that you truly learn and understand something as opposed to just going by someones word.Which one builds more character, taking advice or learning from mistakes?
well if you learn how to listen to advise and mistakes that you make in your life might be minimized. But knowing when to listen to yourself and when to listen to other people's advise is the most character building of all, since this enables you to be your own person.
Mistakes are how we become who we are. Advice is woulda, coulda, shoulda from some one who wishes...
If a person gives you advice, it must mean that they care for you. Even without the experience, it's just an opinion. You don't HAVE to listen to what they say. Sometimes it's good to learn from your own mistakes because you'll know how it feels to mess up and REMEMBER that part of your life.
Making mistakes definitely builds more character. Unless of course one does not learn from said mistakes. This only causes pain and more mistakes.
I agree with you completely. Even your mistakes are all part of your very own life experience. No one should take that away from you.

    It ican be annoying to have all these advice from people who begin their sentences with ';You should....';
I agree, though sometimes advice helps avoid the pain of mistakes.
I believe learning from mistakes builds more character because it is where you start for a new begininb in developing the character. All the mistakes in life serves as a building blocks of your own character. You will have already an image mirror of all the mistakes or errors in life that guides you in dealing with a better life. All ot these are now your shining armor within you.

For those who haven't experienced the situation by themselves, although many are good advicers to others but when the situation calls for it, they couldn't apply it to themselves and this for me is a big question up to now. How come they are so good in giving advices but if they are into the situation they could hardly adopt their advices to their own self.

I believe it is more reliable if one has undergone the situation and later give advice to others because there is a foundation of experience in life which you could share and give advice to others. This is more realistic than being hypothetical.
Taking unsolicited advice is always bad. Learning from mistakes definitely builds character. Learning from other peoples mistakes can make life somewhat easier too.
I disagree... but I could be mistaken.
I think making your own mistakes builds more character, while taking someones advice (if good) shows maturity.
Yes, but people can't help but warn you if they made the mistake themselves.

Although, the best way to learn and build more character is learning from mistakes. Although, if you are smart enough you will listen to that person i.e. parents, teacher, friend, etc. and stay away from whatever hurt them in the past.
A fool learns from his own mistakes.

A wise man learns from the mistakes of fools.

    -Proverbs
The best if to learn from mistakes then give advice to others to avoid the mistake.
You must have charachter to start with to be humble enough to take advice.

But taking advice may turn out to be a mistake. Learning from good advice, that is, from putting that advice into practice and also from appreciating that taking advice can be good AND from mistakes, either of having taken advice which turned out to be wrong or of not taking advice at all 'builds up' the stock, the reservoir of your experiences which you can refer to later, even to decide whether to take advice or not.

It has nothing to do with charachter; charachter is what you are; your inclination to take or not to take advice is your charachter. It will be difficult - it can be done, but difficult - to get yourself to take advice, even more difficult to ask for it, if it is not part of your charachter, in your nature, to do so.

Not all of us are ready or able to take advice, but all of us make mistakes. I hope this answer isn't one; if it is, I am ready to take advice.
    Not true!

    For example:

If someone advises you not to drive high speeds on a steep mountain top with plenty of curves...(even though they have never done it) it would probably behoove you to listen to them as they have driven enough to know height and velocity is a dangerous cocktail!
I agree with you... Even if you dont learn from your own, you can also learn from other people's mistakes...

And it is so much like the Monkey See Monkey Do... thing except backwards... monkey sees someone doing something stupid, so monkey remembers not to do that same thing...
I strongly agree that learning from mistakes gives you more knowledge, makes you more skillful, therefor builds more character....whereas taking advice may also lead to making a mistake and learning from it
Sometimes life itself can be a good teacher. Even though I am a Christian, I have always thought that sometimes experience is a good teacher, and whether you suceed, or fail, it does help you to mature.

On the otherhand some advice is just too good to ignore!

Either way you mature on certain aspects.

It's all part of growing. And until the day we die, we continue to learn every single day. It is part of this thing called life.
I think learning from mistakes builds more character.
Taking advice. Anyone can make a mistake. You can trip over your shoelace and cut your head open. But it is much harder to listen to someone explain to you why you should tie your shoes. Very few people in this world can actually take advice. Pax- C
I agree with you to a certain degree. But where it comes to life threatening things like drinking and driving or drugs I think its best to take other people's past mistakes and not go down that path.

But, I don't think you can truly appreciate a situation until you've experience failure.

    Advice on fence-building?

I'm building a welded wire fence to keep my dogs in the yard. I have stairs coming down off the house. They do not have a banister, just wooden steps. Somehow I need to make the fencing ';go'; with the stairs without looking odd. The dogs are blind, so I need to also prevent them from getting on the stairs. I'm going to use a gate. any ideas?Advice on fence-building?
It sounds to me like you want to put the ';gate'; for the stairs at the top of the stairs so you will not have to go down the stairs to open it for the dogs. But then you will also need to close in the stairs.

My first choice would be to not use a fence but a dog run. Its a wire that goes from the house some distance to a post or tree. From that hangs a chain and a spring hasp. You clip the dogs in at the house and they have the width according to the chain and the length of the run.

You may have other reasons for the fence. Could you put the gate at the bottom of the steps? Lastly, you are going to be using posts and rails to hang the welded wire fencing onto. Build similar posts along the side of the steps run the rails diagonally as if it were a handrail and attach your fencing either parallel to the ground or diagonally with the steps.

Does anyone have any advice on how to build a 3 season porch? I have a 13 by 16 foot deck to work with.?

The area is 8 feet 8 inches high against the house and I know that I need some sort of pitch for the roof. I wanted to frame it in with storm doors so that I could put in / take out the glass as necessary.Does anyone have any advice on how to build a 3 season porch? I have a 13 by 16 foot deck to work with.?
I think you need a conservatory type structure in upvc with triple polycarbonate roof french doors and a couple of large opening vents.Start with a concrete base and build a dwarf wall to keep costs down. When using polycarb roof ask for the bronze sort otherwise it gets to hot in your room. The concrete floor will store heat from the sunshine, and in the summer you can open your doors and vents (windows) for ventilation.Does anyone have any advice on how to build a 3 season porch? I have a 13 by 16 foot deck to work with.?
Which season are you skipping? My point is why not(in such a small space) heat %26amp; insulate-a 4 Season Room.
Go to Lowe's or Home Depot, tell them what you have to work with, they will be able to give you ideas.
I'd go with ';the swamp';on this one but I wouldn't do the 1 inch per foot as suggested by billy. That would not be steep enough.instead use the flat roof that drain in the rail./
as far as a pitch usually 1'; for every foot is good but you need to check with local codes...other then that walls on 2 sides and windows and door on the front....stud insulate and drywall.
Unless the roof you build has at least a 4 in 12 inch pitch it will have to be a membrane type roof. Code will not allow shingles applied to less than that because it will leak. But your first question should be what kind of support do I have for the deck? You will change the loads so dramatically that the FIRST proiority is to verify that the deck will carry the loads you intend to put on it. This will be determined by the footing size and depth, number of columns, column size etc. etc. --unless the deck is a cantilever off from the structure's floor system which entails a whole new set of questions. In any case the loads are measured in pounds per square foot and minimums are established by the building codes. These standards vary by region based on snow and wind loads and what the seismic rating is for your area. I Could tell you exactly how to build it if I had complete information about the existing structure, etc.

I need advice for website building?

i would like to know if anyone out there is making a website where they think they could generate alot of money u dont have to tell me the idea but tell me if you are or not making moneyI need advice for website building?
I am making money with a few websites. There are several ways you can too.

    Content Sites

Things like blogs and tutorial sites with guest authors (allow them to include there website link). Generate a lot of traffic and use adsense to generate income.

-Easiest way to start a content site is to install wordpress. Note: with a content site, you will need dedicated hosting as the information and mass of the site can expand quite fast.

    Review Sites

Also known as product comparison sites, these sites can be hugely complex (moneysupermarket) or extremely simple. The market is rife with simple, 1 -page product comparison sites. Best thing- they can be about anything. You may have seen a lot about hosting. Each link to the actual product website will have an affiliate id which will tell that site who sent that visitor, and if you secure a sale, you get a commission.

-Easiest way to start a review site is to install wordpress (again)- and install the wpreviewsite plugin. You can also try Joomla! or Drupal. I think they have plugins for this too. Wordpress is ideal here because it is nice and compact and responsive, that's exactly how a review site should be.

    Sales Pages

This is obviously only an element of a part, but generally if you create an information product (ebook etc.), all you need is a single sales page to sell it. You can even integrate with your paypal account. Of course, such things come into play as graphic design, sales copy, ghost writing, payment processing, and obviously marketing...it can be expensive if you don't have the skills, but if you invest the money/time well, you can make a ton of money.

-Easiest way to create an information product is to hire 4 people (ghost writer, graphic designer, copywriter, and marketer). It's the easiest way because you don't actually do anything but manage the project and hand money over. To do it yourself would take a lot longer.

Really hope that helped, I used to be baffled when I first started out.I need advice for website building?
I've got a website but not for money, I'm a publisher (google adsense and linkbucks) and earn 2 or 3 dollars per day.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to build my core body strength?

I am starting the police academy in July, I am currently doing 29 situps in a min and nned to do 40, I feel like that I am just weak in the lower abs but I want to build my entire core and just need some advice on guidance. Can anyone give me some advice on how to build my core body strength?
pilates, squat lifts, swimming, weighted crunches. what's your diet like? increase protein intake and avoid sodium and sugar-based carbohydrates.

a while back, i wanted to train my abs/back and increase muscle mass a bit, and found that above everything else, those simple exercises worked better than conventional exercise machines. it got to be useless for me to use things like magnetic resistance machines for things like back extension because i'd nearly max them out. instead, i'd tell you to go get a decent medicine ball (20 pounds or more) and set it on your chest, put your arms around it, and crunch your abs as you normally would. holding it the same way, try squats. you should notice a difference with just half an hour a day, three to five days a week. upon starting, however, you might want to limit it to ten minutes a day and work up.Can anyone give me some advice on how to build my core body strength?
This may sound funny, but honestly, belly dancing. It is the basis for core strength as ALL movements are controled and initiated from the core area. If you are looking for something less ';feminine'; for lack of a better term, yoga and pilates are awesome, but you would need to do it quite a bit to build your core by July.
crunches are better for abs than sit-ups. but don't overdo it, if you over-train your muscles don't have a chance to grow. set aside at least one day a week when you don't exercise at all, you'll see better results.
Also definitely try balancing on your knees on a larger medicine ball. Knees just slightly more than shoulder length apart. When you have this down, have someone gently throw a small ping-pong sized ball to you, and catch it alternating between your left and right hand. Then toss it back to them. Don't over do this.

To focus lower abs...lay on your back with both feet straight up in the air. Have someone stand at your head and give your feet a shove towards the floor. The goal is to keep your feet from making contact with the ground, keeping feet together, swing your legs right back up and have them push them down again. Keep a rhythm going during this.

Need advice for buying or building a trailer hitch for '93 accord.?

So heres the deal, I don't have much money to spend, and I really need to put a trailer hitch on my '93 honda accord. All I'll ever be pulling is a small trailer, probably never more than about 600 pounds total weight of the trailer and load.

Heres what makes it difficult though, my car is lowered almost 4 inches, and has an aftermarket exhaust. I frequently scrape my exhaust so I figure the whole package can't sit any lower than what the exhaust sits. Also, I want it so I can easily bolt it on and off, just when I need to use it. (I believe this is a possible design to make)

I was thinking about bolting together some steel tubing, and bolting it to where the little tiedown loops are currently bolted, but I was told by one person not to due to liability reasons. He said hitches must be done by a certified welder, otherwise if I'm ever in any accident with an uncertified hitch, I could get sued big time. (according to him).

Any advice how I can get a hitch on my car?Need advice for buying or building a trailer hitch for '93 accord.?
You need to check with an auto parts place to see if they make a ready made for that car, and if they don't, then a welding shop that fabricates hitches. They would custom weld one for you. As far as bolt on and unbolt goes, I don't think that is possible because you don't have a frame on the car. It is unibody, so there is no place to easily bolt one. You could get a ';hidden hitch'; brand hitch though, so you could take off the receiver portion and the rest would not be noticeable.Need advice for buying or building a trailer hitch for '93 accord.?
    go to the auto parts store and try to locate an ';air bag'; or air shocks system that will raise the rear end of yo ride and premit the use of a trailer on yo car ------ buy the hitch at a U-haul place or the local boat company can direct you to a shop that will sell and install a hitch for you .... do not mess around with the liability factor on this hitch business ''''it's you responsibility to handle this correctly and not get sued';';';';';
I have a Honda Van and it sits pretty low to the ground. I needed a wheel chair mount put on the back of it. Before they could put the mount on the Van I had to take it and have a receiver hitch mounted to the Van. Where in the world was I going to go and have a receiver hitch mounted? The answer was I took it to U-haul and they mounted a receiver hitch under it. My cost out the door was $125. I will tell you I also have a pick-up truck and I use a trailer with it often. I haul my Golf Cart. I only tell you this because I drive and live on a street and I don't want you driving passed me on the highway with some sort of jury-rig trailer hitch. You aren't only dealing with your life but my families life also. In the best of circumstances things can and do happen but when you already send for Murphy it is going to happen. Get it done right, and don't take a chance of hurting yourself or even worse hurting some one else.

Note; Walter is talking about rear shocks that were known as HY-jackers, these were real popular in the 1970s but it is also a good Idea I just gave him a thumbs up
Trailer hitch on a lowered car that already scrapes the exhaust. Sounds like a stupid idea to me, but I'm just an auto technician from this dimension.

I just started a Printing company need some advice on building some clients and vendors?

I have been in screen printing for five years, i'm now venturing in to the printing side of the business. The business name is MPowered Inks and I would like to develope a store front much like Kinko's with the exact same set-up. How do I go about getting a loan or a investor?, What equipment would I need? and How much do you think it would cost me to open and run my business for 18 months? I presently have Pitney Bowes, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Familia Unida a non-profit organization for multiple scerolis, Mothers Day Radio non-profit organization, and a few surrounding high schools and business as clients. Thanks in advance.I just started a Printing company need some advice on building some clients and vendors?
You have asked many questions all packed into one submission. SCORE is indeed a good place to start. If you go to Small Business Administration, for anything other than a start up loan, you may be referred to SCORE to assist you in getting started. From your description about your current business, you have a sound start on the business world. However, you will still need to do a business plan outlining at minimum the following, in writing: What you want to do; what are your current accomplishments; what has been your bottom line (assets, income versus outlay); what research you have done and what location(s) you are looking at--demographics are important; what research have you done with regard to competition in your immediate and surrounding areas, and have you visited any to view their equipment and supplies; how you plan to obtain that equipment and establish relationships with suppliers, and finally, with potential customers. How will you advertise, how much will that cost you, how can you network with your current customers to gain additional referral business (often you have to ask your contacts to spread the word). A word of warning. Location is paramount. A storefront operation on a third side street may not get you a lot of walk in business. However, flip side of the coin, it does not matter where you locate if you deal with other businesses and do not depend on walk in customers. In the latter, you will have to determine some other factors, including delivery and costs of raw and finished materials, whether or not you will contract with someone else to get the materials where they need to go (direct mailers, UPS, DHL, etc.). Finally, what profit margin will you need to stay in business? Are you a one person operation or do you need to employ others. If you do you will need to know a lot about employer responsibilities--you can get that information from the various state offices and by talking, talking, talking to your established customers in your other business.

A SCORE mentor with the right background can assist. You can also concurrently work with SCORE via the internet , but keep both sides informed of where you are or split their responsibilities.

Hang in there. You have already shown you can run a business. This is just an extension of that experience. You may want to explore a market niche--specializing in one particular type of printing that is needed in your area right now.I just started a Printing company need some advice on building some clients and vendors?
Check out a networking group like BNI (www.bni.com). There are many business people who would instantly be your clients and help you find new clients.

Also, try www.SCORE.org. There are many retired professionals at SCORE who will give you free advice on how to do what you are looking for...you could even be matched up with someone who has already done it.

    Hope this helps.

Ok i need some tips and advice on building muscle?

Ok so I am in 7th grade. My sister just got into highschool and it turns out that highschool does swimming. :O. When I get into highschool and start doing swimming I don't want to be bulging with muscles but I want to have a six pack (like I said not a bulging one lol) and more visible upper body strength. I've been working out pretty good the past week but I need to know if anyone knows different types of excercises for upper body strength and abs. Also I would like to know if you guys think it is possible to reach this goal at my age?Ok i need some tips and advice on building muscle?
It depends largely on your genetics and your current health and physical condition. Some people never can get a sixpack no matter what they do.

The best exercises to do are push ups, pull ups, and crunches. There are many different varieties. If you push and do these everyday, you should build muscle and be ready to swim. You also need to change your routine about every 10 days so you keep building. For best results add yoga, aerobics, running and polymetrics every other week. You could talk to a coach to get individualized help. Swimming laps would also be good way to build the muscle and increase lung capacity. See if there is a Jr swim team you can join, many communities have them.

A key part is nutrition, you need to eat healthy. In other words no junk food, sodas, sugars, power drinks. At your age you need to eat but stick to natural foods and natural fats. (yes fats are good as long as it is a natural fat).

Don't get discouraged, many young men don't really start developing muscle etc until around age 17. Don't get obsessed either about building muscle, at your age too much can cause long term problems. Do have fun with it and learn what works best for you. Everyone is different.Ok i need some tips and advice on building muscle?
Well to be honest, the most important part of getting a six pack is how healthy you eat. It's not the size of your abdominal muscles that matters. What's important is that you reduce your fat levels, to make your muscles more prominent. I would recommend to do sit ups, press ups and other exercises. But I would also recommend doing cardio, like jogging, running, etc...

However, to be honest I don't think trying to get a siz pack will be easy at your age. In fact, it may be unhealthy to attempt to get a six pack or gain muscle at your age. I would just do some body weight exercise like push ups, etc.. and eat healthy. Then once you get a bit older, you can start some more serious training and diet control
Just run and eat healthier. Also, see if the coach will let you come to practice so you can start early, swimming will burn fat, and build some muscle. To get it to a way you like it your going to have to lift weights, you don't have to lift big weights just the right ones so you get what you want.
if you don't eat meat, then it will be pretty hard to build muscle

I want to start exercising to build muscle mass and I need some advice on building a routine?

I have a slender/slim build with very little body fat, so that is not an issue. I do however want to target the chest, biceps and stomach area. I have only been doing sit ups and push ups to start, but does anyone out there have some advice on good excercises to aid in this endeavor? Thanks!I want to start exercising to build muscle mass and I need some advice on building a routine?
Every guy wants to have those ';show-off'; muscles. A chest to stick out, some biceps to flex, and some abs to show off shirtless. But to really build an impressive physique, you should work every muscle in the body, including the triceps (which, by the way, are responsible for 2/3 of your arms' mass), back, and the bane of all casual gym rats, the legs.

Push-ups are a fantastic way to start on the right path. The wider your hands are, the more you are targeting the chest. Put them closer together to put more emphasis on the triceps.

Sit-ups are a staple in every P.E. class, but once you get past around a 45 degree angle to the ground, you're taking the stress off of your abs and passing it on to your hip flexors. Try crunches to better target your upper abs, and leg raises to hit the lower.

Find a bar or sturdy tree branch, and using a close, underhand grip, do pull-ups. This will help build your biceps and back. Do them with a wide overhand grip to put more emphasis on the lats (the sides of your back, and the only part that can be potentially seen from the front.)

Adding mass to your legs is difficult without any equipment, but your body can provide adequate resistance with calf raises and lunges.

Doing these body weight-exclusive exercises will give you a great foundation, but you should really consider joining a gym to get the best results.

I hate you lucky people with your high metabolisms, but it's great news if you're looking to build muscle. Protein is the foundation for building muscle, so chose meals high in this essential part of your bodybuilding diet.

Good luck!I want to start exercising to build muscle mass and I need some advice on building a routine?
Start doing dead lifts.I gaind about 15 pounds of muscle in about a month,I also did push ups and pull ups.And had alot of things to eat everyday.I also had a glass of a naturel protein shake.I im 5'11'' and 150lbs and people say I look good.Im like you not fat so the liitle mass I get I look bigger then the normal guy.The deadlift is the best thing to do to gain, mass, power, muscle, and it works your entire body.Go on youtube and look up the wright way to do a dead lift.Good luck
Bigger weight will get you bigger muscles. You also need a lot of protein. Humans are bad at storing protein, this is why its important to consume 5 healthy meals a day. Whea protein is a good supplement for 2 of those meals. Check out this website, you wont be dissapointed, lots of info. http://fitness.scoobysworkshop.com/train鈥?/a>

wire mesh with fiberglass is good. But you will need an internal armature to support its weight. The most sturdy will be welded steel. If you can weld you can find scraps to use (e.g. scrap yard, or if you go to a place which sells steel ask for cutoffs). Next option is wood. Or you could use styrofoam (the pink carvable kind) as a core. Laminate sheets together to achieve the thickness you want.

If you need it cheaper than fiberglass papermache is another option. It won't be quite as sturdy though. You can also put plaster on top and work on the plaster. You can get a smoother surface this way.Building a 10ft Longcat, i'd like it to be quite strong so any advice on materials to use would help alot :]

Ok then i would recommend checking this website out http://www.allneeds.com.au/. You will find all about parts because seriously i cant be F*** finding out what parts would be best. Make sure they work together. Anyway for that i would recommend a dual core 3 ghz or 2.4-2.6 ghz quad core. Also if you planing on getting more then 4 gbs of ram make sure you get a 64 bit cpu and windows vista 64. Otherwise you will only be able to use 4 gbs of the 8 or 16 or 32 ... how ever much you put in will always be same. Can someone give me advice on building my own computer?
LOL! I almost flipped when I saw the 200GB of ram...

    Anyway, go to http://tigerdirect.com

Look at barebones kits. I use Biostar boards, personally, but Asus and Intel are both fantastic. Modern gaming can be played easily on any CPU that is Pentium D or higher.

The last computer I built, not including monitor, keyboard, mouse or speakers, cost me about $300.

Make sure that the kit either comes with a CPU fan, or that you buy one that is the correct socket. Also, remember dvd drives.

Here's a list of things that you will need to build one from the ground up. Some of these will be included with the kit:

Case This, as well as the next three items should come together in a barebones kit(about $150 or more, depending on the specs)

Power Supply (450watts or better) in kit

    Motherboard (in kit)

    Processor (in kit)

Fan for processor (starting at $15) (SOMETIMES in kit)

Case fan (80 or 120mm, depending on the case, 1 is good, more is better) (about $10 each)

Memory (typically DDR2, minimum of 2 GB) (Less than $30)

Hard drive (Seagate ONLY, and TRY to get SATA instead of IDE, they're faster)

DVD burner (Lite-On is cheap and works well)

Operating System CD/ DVD. This is where the big expense comes in, honestly. I STRONGLY suggest Windows XP Pro. If you have a copy that you can use that is NOT on another computer already, then use it. If not, then add about $150 to the price of the above.

MOST decent motherboards have integrated graphics that are MORE THAN good enough for games, although if you're going to be doing hardcore gaming, you may want to look at a card that has at least 512MB of memory.
I've been working with computers for nearly 30 YEARS.. I go back to the day when you had switches on the front panel to program the beast. I never owned an factory built computer until about 3 years ago... and I bought both a DELL lap top and a DELL Desk Top because I COULD NOT BUILD MY OWN AS CHEAPLY AS I COULD BUY THE FACTORY BUILT ONE.

Contrary to what you wrongly believe.. you can NOT build your own as cheaply OR AS WELL as you can buy one from the factory... any factory... and if you even HAD built your own you would know know that.

GO TO DELL and tell them exactly what you want and they will build it and IT WILL WORK THE FIRST TIME and IT WILL COST LESS THAN WHAT YOU WOULD PAY FOR THE PARTS... and if you don't believe me... then TRY THEM and you will find out for yourself.
Go to newegg.com. They have pretty good prices and return policies. Also maybe use a guide like this. Good luck.

I'm looking for advice in building endurance in my vaginal region as well as my breasts?

My fiance and I have a great sex life, but when we do ';it'; usually I'm really sore both down under and up top the day after and I'm not sure why. He's not rough or anything and while he's a perfect fit for me (he doesn't hurt to stretch me out) the 24 hours after I ache to the touch and I can't really...go for more. I'm pretty sure I lubricate plenty, I mean...I'm definetely one of those girls who get's plenty ';juicy'; but...yeah, there's still some discomfort after. Am I just too sensitive?I'm looking for advice in building endurance in my vaginal region as well as my breasts?
I would ask a doctor. It doesn't sound normal to me if everything is ok sexually and he's not being rough. I've even played rough and it still doesn't hurt the next day...sounds to me something's being aggravated. It definitely doesn't hurt to ask or be checked.I'm looking for advice in building endurance in my vaginal region as well as my breasts?
Well I won't know what you mean without some pictures. It is ok I have a Ph.D!

Does anybody have any advice on building a cabin?

My fiance and I live on his parents farm, currently in a camper trailer that we pushed into an old Hog Confinment Shed. This spring we will be building a small cabin on the edge of his parents property so that we can be on the farm to help out, but yet we don't have to depend on them for things like the bathroom/shower and kitchen.

We have already contacted the county we live in and on a farm it is legal to build a second home on the premisis if the person occupying it works on the farm. So legally we can do this, the only thing is that we need is to comply with sewer regulations.

I was just wondering if anybody could throw out some good websites on eco friendly building? Or some thrifty, money saving ideas? Anything to help me out would we wonderful!

Thanks!Does anybody have any advice on building a cabin?
sure, don't. Cabins take lots of maintenance and are drafty in most cases. Try a passive solar home.Does anybody have any advice on building a cabin?
How about a pole barn? Looks like a barn on the outside and you can make it anyway you want on the inside.
I'd look into United Built Homes - they have a cute cabin, they put up the outside and finish it as much (or as little) as you like on the interior.

On a farm you may be able to get away with a septic system but you will want it well away from a well (if that is your water source) and you will need a perk test done first.
