Stick with Onkyo - the beast deal on the market, with HDMI1.3a and new HD audio processors.
There is a company called NHT - well known in High End circles, but not one of those BestBuy brands.
Their classic series awesome - at realistic prices.

Ascend Acoustics: I bought a pair of the CBM 170 SE and they sound great. They are similar to the speakers you have listed but have greater sensitivity.

There are many high quality speakers on the market.
The ones I have listed give you more for your money. This is important to me as I have work within a budget, but do not want to comprimise sound quality.
