Building a PC!, ADVICE NEEDED?

Im going to buld a pc, i have the knowledge of instlalling a new harddrive, optical drive, case, motherboard, cpu, floppy... and the rest... lcd, mouse, and so on... i can install windows, fresh or update, and i know how to go into bios... HOWEVER, i dont know how to setup bios with a new mother board and a new cpu... how difficult is it really?

i mean im going to build a pc, around $450 (just the cpu)... and im planning on getting a good intel motherboard with a 2.13 ghz intel core dua cpu, also, im getting good ram, and an all right hard drive with a round 300-500 gb, also im looking to spend around 60-75 bucks on a good case and hopefully one with a power supply (500 watts)... nice ones like thermaltake saprano ws1000bs or something like that...

i can get my uncle to setup the bios but i wanna learn and install the motherboard in my MID-TOWER PC with the cpue... i want it to be as fast as a dell xps... can you guys give me tips on low priced parts that are fast!!

Sounds like you know what you're doing to me..

You don't need to 'set-up' the BIOS these days, it will do it all for you. You only need to enter the BIOS to make tweaks and mess about with settings to optomize performance etc.

Just make sure you buy parts that work together...

The Intel Core 2 Duo Chip (E6600) is VERY good value for performance. Make sure you have 2gb of memory. Use SATA HD.Building a PC!, ADVICE NEEDED?
Go to: www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com these are good sites to get parts for the individual to build a pc. Make sure you study the specs on the mb to get the correct RAM and Processor. Certain processors will only fit in certain socket main boards. You really dont need to do anything with the BIOS except set up the boot order, which is no big deal. Good luck. Need help, just ask. Dont try to ';wing it';
Have u ever consider going AMD platform. If computer is not going to be used for hardcore gaming, or programs that requires performance go with AMD. AMD might not be as fast as a Core 2 Duo, but are still powerful to run any games with good performance, and programs pleasing the person, and are much cheap in prices.
