I need advice on building 6x9 speaker boxes but do not want them sealed? Do not like the sound!!?

If you dont care for the sound of a sealed box leave the back open, only cover with carpet or grill cloth so that you can't see the rear of the speaker. This way you have your speakers contained in a free air type enclosureI need advice on building 6x9 speaker boxes but do not want them sealed? There is such a thing as pressure. Your speakers have to have a certain amount of pressure on the back side of them in order to sound the way they were meant to from the factory. To answer your question, no you should look up your specs for your speakers and go buy them for you best sound. You should only mess with enclosure air space when it comes to subs.I need advice on building 6x9 speaker boxes but do not want them sealed? Do not like the sound!!?
You say you don't want them sealed but if you don't you will introduce very bad rattling over time. My suggestion is get you a Hot Glue gun and run seams around the edges of the box and around the speaker metal edges where they attach to the speaker enclosure. You can always cut some holes in the box to allow the base effect to boom through the box but the hot glue will keep vibration noise down. Hey if you don't like it Hot Glue peals off even after dry whereas some glues don't.
The guy alagk has a good idea but dont use hot glue over time it will come off with the speakers vibration. Use a good wood glue it has some of the same properties and better hold
